GPIAG Practice Tools

This section of the website offers range of different tools and other resources to support healthcare professionals in the delivery of respiratory disease management in primary care, including:
  • Tools and publications specifically for primary care nurses, including a series of example protocols, and a skills level document, designed to help nurses assess their own skill in respiratory medicine - click here for more information

Some of these materials are freely available whilst others are only available to GPIAG members.

Some of the materials have been produced by the GPIAG specifically for primary care healthcare professionals (GPIAG tools /publications) , whilst some have been produced by other organisations with input and support from the GPIAG (GPIAG ‘endorsed’ tools /publications) or reviewed and accredited by the GPIAG (GPIAG ‘accredited’ tools /publications).

Other materials have been produced by different organisations, and are simply drawn to the attention of the GPIAG as being of particular relevance to primary care respiratory medicine (‘other’ tools /publications). The GPIAG has not contributed to or reviewed these tools /publications, but hopes this service is of value in promoting what is available.

Additional tools and publications, developed by the GPIAG with the BTS, through IMPRESS (integrating and improving respiratory services in the NHS) ) are available through the IMPRESS website.
